Brian Moelich
About
Hey there, I'm Brian!
I started my career in fast-moving technology environments, where change was constant and certainty was rare. What stood out early on was that the hardest part of transformation was never the idea itself—it was what happened when real people had to adopt it.

That lesson stayed with me.

Since then, I’ve founded and led an innovation and strategy firm, advised leaders across industries, built and scaled the Strategy & Transformation practice inside AECOM. Today, I'm the Advisory Services Leader integrating the practices of Strategy & Transformation, Digital, Economics, Asset Management, and Sustainability to explore what's possible with clients. Much of my work happens alongside teams delivering complex, high-stakes infrastructure programs.
Across all of it, I’ve been drawn to the same questions. How do people make decisions when information is incomplete? What helps teams stay aligned when things get messy? Why do some efforts adapt and others stall, even when they look similar on paper?

What I'm Drawn To
I like building things.

Teams. Practices. New ways of working.

I’m especially interested in environments where complexity is high, certainty is low, and the usual answers no longer quite fit. These are the moments where judgment matters, where leadership shows up in subtle ways, and where the human side of work becomes impossible to ignore.

That’s where I tend to spend my time.
