About

Hey there, I'm Brian!

I didn’t join the infrastructure industry because I’m obsessed with concrete and steel—I joined because I’m obsessed with people and the ideas they bring to the table. Early on, I saw an industry stuck in “business as usual,” measuring success only by technical perfection. I thought, we can do better than this. So, I set out to shake things up.

My crash course came in Silicon Valley, where big ideas move at lightning speed and standing still isn’t an option. I learned that the hardest part of innovation isn’t dreaming up the idea—it’s getting organizations to actually embrace it and build the systems to make it work. That’s when I fell in love with organization design and psychology—creating the kind of environments where great ideas don’t just survive… they take off.

In 2017, I came back to Canada and launched my own innovation strategy firm, teaming up with companies like Nestlé, Telus, Manulife, and The Globe and Mail to unlock their potential. Today, I bring that same energy to major transit and infrastructure programs at AECOM, where I founded and lead Strategy+ in Canada. What started as me at a desk with a big idea is now a 12-person team helping organizations rethink strategy, transform the way they work, and deliver infrastructure that inspires communities for decades to come.
